Fri 13 Aug - Next PSG Meeting & SFE Parenting/Coffee Talk
Please note the next PSG meeting will be held on 13 Aug 2010 at 7.30am at the PSG room.
Also, as discussed during the last PSG meeting, we will have the SFE Parenting/Coffee Talk before the start of our PSG meeting at 7.30am. Unfortunately, the speaker is not able to come in that time, so we have rescheduled it to 9.30am after the PSG meeting instead. Tue 31 Aug - ACES Day
Flag off for the walk to Serangoon Stadium will be at 7.45am. Parents are invited to join in for the soccer game and also the running relay. Please email Karen at karen.lau98@yahoo.com.sg if you are interested in taking part in any of the mention events.
Tue 31 Aug - Teachers Day Dinner
Preparation is well underway and thanks to Jacqueline (Programme), Gin Yee & Phyllis (Deco) and Grace (Food) for coming forward to take the lead. Here is how you could lend a hand....

ACTIVITIES & EVENT
Hi Parents!
At St. Gabriel's Secondary, we are blessed to have a team of "dynamic, caring, passionate" educator(s) & administrator(s) who actively shape our young sons in their formative "teen-years" into "servant leaders", "gracious citizens", "life long learners" and more...
As part of the "school-home-community" bond framework, our PSG provides support & resource(s) (including expertise) in organising activities & events.
By stepping forward and getting involved with the school, we hope that our teachers can divert "more" of their attention towards enriching our sons' "learning journey"!
How You Can Help!
Typically for each activity/event that we organise, a "Leader" is identified to drive the event planning. He/She will be supported by the entire PSG team. The "shape & size" of these activities/events are constrained by the number of volunteer(s) and resource(s) at-hand.
It is for this reason, we are constantly looking out for more volunteers to join our PSG. We understand and share the "concerns" associated with "volunteering" (e.g. I am very busy and don't have time to spare! If I volunteer for activities, it will eat into my personal time! What is it in for me? etc.)
Our PSG team comprises of people from all walks of life with different abilities, strengths & weaknesses. Each of us have had similar apprehensions prior to joining the PSG and will have different "answers" to these "burning questions".
We invite you to come-over and chat with us so that we can share our personal experiences! Better still, participate (as an observer) in just one of our many activities/events, so that you can develop your own "answers"! Hurrah!
