PSG Activities (Nov & Dec)
Hi to all PSGs,
Friday was the last day of school (for most of our boys) and I believe everyone is looking forward to the long holidays. Here is an update of the activities for Oct and Nov.......
Library Tour (Gentle Reminder)
For those who are going for the Library Tour on Sat, 30 Oct 10, please meet at Bishan Community Library at 9am. Please look out for Siti, so that she knows you are there as not to miss out anyone of you. Enjoy your tour......
PSG Year End Dinner (12 Nov, Friday)
Kindly note that we have tried our best to find a place that can cater to our date and time but it seems that most of the places are not available on 13 or 14 Nov. Finally, after much deliberation, we have decided to move the appreciation dinner to the 12 Nov, which falls on Friday. We managed to secure a place at the Keppel Club for this purpose.
As such, we would need to confirm your attendance (including spouses and children) by email to karen.lau98@yahoo.com.sg The price of the dinner is $10 for adults and $5 for children below 12.
We would appreciate a quick response, if possible by Mon, 1 Nov, as we need to get back to Keppel to confirm this event. We know transport may be a problem for some but not to worry, we can all arrange for car pool or pick ups from the nearby MRT station.
One good news, South East CDC has approved our grant (on reimbursement basis) for this event and any excess fund that we may have after this event, will be channelled to the PSG fund for all future events.
Thank you.

Teachers' Day - Video shoot
Dear all PSG members,
Following Esther's discussion with Mr Ng, the teacher-in-charge of Infocom, he will be assigning 4 Infocom boys to assist us during the shooting, but would be glad if our PSG members' sons can be the ice-breaker as they are shy to approach the boys. They are available on Thur n Fri (to be confirmed).
This video clip will be entitled "YOU MADE A DIFFERENCE". Our sons will be the representative for their level, e.g Muhd Danial INI (Julaidah), representative for 1N n T classess
We need representative for the following levels:
The representatives will gather at the PSG room during their recess time on Tue, 10/08/10. Esther and Julaidah will brief the boys on the topics and no. of students required for each class. We would like to propose 2 students and the chairman from each class and shooting will be conducted only on Thur n Fri (to be confirmed). If you have a videocam, we would appreciate if your sons can bring it to the school and help us with the shooting.
Once the video shooting is completed, Mr Ng and his team will assist us in transferring the data to their system, which will then be broadcasted on SGSS TV monitors for pre-Teachers' Day Celebration.
With your help and assistance, YOU MADE THE DIFFERENCE too! Let's work together towards a memorable Teachers' Day Celebration ever!.
Thank you.

SINGAPORE PARENTING CONGRESS 2010
Dear PSG members,
Please see extracted information on Singapore Parenting Congress 2010 organised by Mediacorp. This is a well received seminar for parents to learn parenting skills from renowned speakers. Kindly visit mediacorpradio.sg/spc2010 for more details.
The SFE will subsidise $6.00 for EACH PSG (ie $12.00 for each pair of the tickets). As it is cheaper to book 'pair tickets' than single ticket, we would appreciate it if parents can do a bit of co-ordination here by pairing up. Booking fees are to be borne by parents. We will limit this to 60 parents only. Subsidy is for one parent a day (ie either 17th July or 18th July 2010) and does not extend to spouse.
Reimbursements will be made upon presentation of the tickets bought at SISTIC and strictly on a first-come-first-served basis.
Anyone who is interested to attend will need to submit a form. Please contact Julaidah at email: julaidah_mohd@yahoo.com or Wang Leng at email: wltan@shengtai.com.sg for details/forms.
PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT SUBMIT TO SITI, OTHERWISE, YOUR RESIGTRATION WILL NOT BE RECEIVED BY EITHER JULAIDAH OR WANG LENG.
Thank you
